Lifecycle Wellness and Birth Center has an opening for a full-time nurse-practitioner for our growing GYN practice as well as our pregnancy clients.. The Birth Center at Lifecycle has been in operation for 45 years and was one of the first community-based birth centers in Pennsylvania. Lifecycle is accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC) and licensed by the state.
We are a fiscally sound non-profit with a supportive Board of Directors. We have highly engaged clients who want a different model of care than traditional practices. From administrative to clinical staff, we have a nurturing, caring, and inclusive practice to a diverse client population.
As an NP at Lifecycle, you will have a great deal of professional autonomy and the opportunity to provide comprehensive gynecological, prenatal, and postpartum care to clients.
We are well known for the close to 16,000 births we have attended as well as our comprehensive, client-centered well-person care which includes adolescent, reproductive and menopausal care. We have markedly increased our GYN services in the last few years. We provide over 350 GYN visits per month and provide prenatal care for approximately 50 births per month. We have a staff of 9 midwives and 5 nurse practitioners. Office visits are 30-60 minutes. We also offer integrated perinatal mental health services to our clients.
The position:
Strong preference will be given to a Women’s Health Nurse-Practitioner with at least one year of full-time experience. A Family Nurse Practitioner with significant prenatal and gynecological experience may be considered.
