Overall Objective Reporting to the CEO, and in close collaboration with our VP Engineering and VP Business Development, lead our product development function to develop and bring to market services and software solutions that help our customers transition to electric and make electric the most competitive technology choice. Key Responsibilities Translate the company vision into a product roadmap, informed by customer needs, market trends and company objectives. Identify market opportunities and determine product priorities to ensure competitiveness and relevance. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond. Ensure continuous improvement and updates based on market trends, user feedback, and technological advancements. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, such as defining customer personas, defining operational objectives and processes, mapping out technology interfaces. Gather customer feedback to drive product improvements and innovation. Ensure that the product meets customer needs and enhances user experience. 4/ Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with our teams in engineering, sales, and infrastructure and customer support to: Translate the product vision into tangible features and functionalities. Ensure that the product’s value proposition is effectively communicated to the market. Ensure that they are equipped to handle queries and issues related to the product. Balance competing interests and priorities. Facilitate communication and transparency. 5/ Team management and Development Lead and mentor the product management team, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed. Attract, retain, and develop top product management talent. 6/ Foster Innovation and R&D Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products to keep the company’s offerings ahead of the curve. Support the sales team in defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for product launches, including pricing, positioning, and distribution channels. Key Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in product management. Experience in the fields of logistics, electric vehicles and related technologies or energy and grid networks is a plus. Clear, simple communicator – takes pride in simplification and can translate complex issues into understandable and actionable frameworks. Works in agile and hands-on manner – balancing the realities of a start-up, being hands-on while working towards a sustainable/scalable organization.
