Supervisor Physician Assistant - OB/PA Services-Rotating-NYP Westchester Campus

We are seeking a Supervisor Physician Assistant who will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations for the PA team in the OBGYN Service Line.

The Supervisor Physician Assistant will provide supervision and clinical oversight of the PA team. The selected candidate will work under supervision of a Chief PA and/or Director, Dept. of PA Services to ensure all standard policies and procedures and credentialing guidelines are in compliance. The Supervisor Physician Assistant will promote a positive, nurturing and stimulating work environment for all staff. In conjunction with supervising MD and Chief PA, the Supervisor PA will conduct performance related reviews and metrics. The Supervisor PA will also collaborate with the Chief PA to create and maintain the schedule, including managing overtime. Other responsibilities may include working with Chief PA to recruit and hire staff, training of new and existing employees, and special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in:

(Labor Management, Postpartum and Postoperative care, Obstetric Triage Management, Basic Antepartum Care, Basic GYN Emergency Care, 1st Assisting for C-sections )

This position is a Full-Time opportunity with rotating days, nights, and weekends (Varied 12-hour shifts) at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, right across the Metro North Station.

Required Criteria

• Position requires the knowledge normally acquired through completion of a bachelors degree plus up to one year of post-degree course work and/or an internship.
• Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant
• Current NYS licensure
• NCCPA certification
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration number
• Minimum of five years of previous experience

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
