Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, youll be a member of a rapid prototype engineering team responsible for hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic capture, managing of layout constraints, supporting PWB layout, manufacturing, and integration & test.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: High speed circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, Advanced memory devices and storage protocols, Design for Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC).

• Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
• Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
• Working knowledge of the Mentor tools Suite for schematic entry, constraint manager, HyperLynx SI/PI analysis
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects

Target salary range: USD $142,601.00/Yr. - USD $158,198.00/Yr.This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
