Scout ET Inc (Our Staffing platform & MJ TALENT (Software Development) Job Description Title: Mobile Android Developer Location: Birmingham, AL Duration: 3 Months Contract Experience: 3-5 years of Android Development experience

Develop and maintain high-quality code for complex applications
Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate back-end logic with mobile applications
Manage multiple assignments and projects effectively
Anticipate problems and technical needs, taking corrective actions proactively
Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
Collaborate with high-performing, cross-functional teams on-site and remotely

Job Requirements · Broad mobile development experience with understanding of mobile software design concepts

Passionate about programming and exploring new technologies
Experience with Agile/Scrum and Continuous Integration
Proficiency in Android Development: Java, XML, Eclipse ADT or Android Studio IDE, Gradle
Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
Minimum 2 years of professional Android experience
Experience publishing apps on the Play Store is a plus
Familiarity with Android development demands: compatibility libraries, responsive design, Google Play Services APIs, dependency injection, AR libraries, REST services
Experience with payment networks
Knowledge of other mobile platforms
Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and version control (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of UX design patterns
Basic understanding of AWS platform
Experience writing unit tests with modern tools
Strong problem-solving skills: creative, analytical, adaptable, logical, thorough, team-oriented
Spanish language skills are a plus
