\n \n\n \nThe role you’ll contribute:
\n \n\n \nProvides vocational nursing services under the supervision of an RN, to patients in their homes.
\n \n\n \nThe value you’ll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \no Performs nursing skills safely and competently according to the plan of care.
\n \n\n \no Provides accurate and complete documentation the same day of the visit.
\n \n\n \no Schedules visits to facilitate patient needs and completes assigned schedule in a timely manner.
\n \n\n \no Plans patient care in consultation with Registered nurse.
\n \n\n \no Assists with patient/caregiver teaching.
\n \n\n \no Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes and the ability to adjust priorities and use resources.
\n \n\n \no Maintains open communication with RN Case Coordinator and RN Supervisor.
\n \n\n \no Demonstrates suitable time management skills.
\n \n\n \no Participates in case conferences and staff meetings.
\n \n\n \no Participates in agency Performance Improvement activities.
\n \n\n \no Provides orientation to newly hired LPNs and hosts student LPNs.
\n \n\n \nThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \n· Minimum qualifications :
\n \n\n \no Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of Florida
\n \n\n \no Basic Life Support certification
\n \n\n \no Valid Florida driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation
\n \n\n \no Minimum 1 year of nursing experience as a LPN
\n \n\n \n· Education and Experience Preferred:
\n \n\n \no LPN IV Certification as required for Florida Board of Nursing (Certification of completion for 30-hour course)
\n \n\n \no Home care experience
\n \n\n \no Wound Care
\n \n\n \no One year of experience in community health nursing
