The Role We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Reporting Product Team! Our cross-functional team is responsible for building and maintaining one of the cornerstone functions of our core product. The reporting product provides an intuitive user experience that enables our customers to develop custom reports that visualize and communicate relevant insights to their internal and external partners. These flexible reporting tools give them the power to “drag and drop” and quickly create tailored reports that update in real-time all branded to their firm’s specifications. We’re looking for a Software Engineer who will be a part of a dynamic team that creates high quality software using engineering best practices to deliver an industry leading product. Must be passionate about building rich user experiences, efficient and scalable backends while working collaboratively with our cross-functional team of product managers and designers to deliver a fantastic product to our customers. Our engineering stack is primarily composed of a Java backend with an Ember frontend, however we don’t require experience with any specific tool set. We use Agile methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $107,000 - $168,000 (Base Salary) + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. What You’ll Do Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform. Develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems. Contribute to our inclusive and dynamic engineering culture. Advocate for standard methodologies and process improvements. Who You Are Several years experience as a professional software engineer Experience with Java and at least one Java application framework Collaborative approach to building feature-rich user experiences Experience with Ember, finance and a public cloud environment is a plus!
