We’re seeking a strategic, data- and mission-driven retention leader, who loves converting customers into lifelong champions. You’ll own customer lifecycle strategies, crush churn, and supercharge subscription growth, while building a thriving community of advocates. As the architect of loyalty at LeafSide, you’ll have a major impact on our mission success. You’ll design retention programs, optimize community engagement across channels, and deliver initiatives that keep customers coming back.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Mastery: Design and execute comprehensive customer lifecycle strategies, focusing on optimizing onboarding, renewals, ascension, and reactivation campaigns.

  • Loyalty & Advocacy: Develop and innovate loyalty programs that boost engagement, orders, and advocacy (e.g., exclusive challenges, rewards, member-only experiences).

  • Multi-Channel Engagement: Oversee multi-channel engagement strategies, including email/SMS campaigns, direct mail, and community events. Collaborate with internal teams to refine our digital platforms for seamless customer experience.

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms to track key metrics. Turn insights into action, employing creativity and resourcefulness for A/B testing, trigger-based campaigns, and continuous feedback loops to drive performance improvements.

  • Community & Collaboration: Create value-driven events and content to deepen connections within our customer community. Collaborate on strategic partnerships and alternative distribution channels to expand reach and engagement.

  • Innovation & Problem-Solving: Anticipate risks, resolve challenges with analytical rigor, and proactively identify and seize growth opportunities. Apply creative thinking and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles and drive results.

Desired Candidate Attributes & Experience

  • 7+ years in B2C marketing (especially ecommerce/CPG, health & wellness) , with proven success and accomplishments in subscription and membership models, retention strategies, and loyalty programs.

  • Tech-Savvy Leader: Expert in CRM, ecommerce, project management, and content creation tools — with the wisdom to know how and when to leverage AI.

  • Creative Data Geek: You love blending empathy with spreadsheets, crafting campaigns that resonate and convert.

  • Community Builder: Skilled at fostering engagement online and offline.

  • Vegan Advocacy: Passionate about healthy plant-based living and LeafSide’s vegan vision.

Salary & Benefits

  • This is a full-time on-site role , minimum 50 hours/week. To succeed in this role, hard work and constant learning should absolutely be second nature to you. You expertly maintain your energy and health for long-term success.
  • We offer a market-competitive total rewards package , dependent on experience and qualifications: competitive base salary, and negotiable performance bonuses tied to KPI results.
  • Total time off per year starts at 5 weeks per year . (8 paid holidays, 5 sick days, and 12 PTO days) with sick and PTO time usable interchangeably and accrued per fully employed pay period.
