The responsibility of the Business Analyst will successfully implement new customers in an effective and timely manner, ensuring that all detailed requirements are in place by the set deadline. Projects will involve leading cross-functional teams, comprised mainly of operations and IT resources, to execute enhancements and improvements based on strategic business initiatives. This role will require effective communication and coordination both internally, as well as externally.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creates project plans, task lists, detailed work plans to drive a new client start-up to completion that will involve client, operations, IT and hitting revenue goals with input and assistance from other leaders.
• Takes projects from original concept through final implementation and manages existing projects.
• Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports.
• Regular and proactive meeting cadence established to drive deliverables of project.
• Develop and assist in deliverable schedules.
• Publish status for all projects in progress.
• Frequently interacts with internal/external customers and/or functional peer group managers.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet quality, processing, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with experience writing clear and concise requirement documents to clearly define expectations.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience, specific to clearinghouse, with exposure to either provider and/or payer community.
• ANSI/HIPAA knowledge.
• Proven ability to create executive level communication.
• Willing or ability to 25% travel is required with this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification.
• Process improvement or Lean Six Sigma background.
• Solid understanding of proven project management methodologies.
• Proven ability to work with large amounts of data, including checks for integrity, summation, and effective communication (written and verbal) to internal and external constituents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to manage through challenging conversations independently.
• Proven excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300.
