Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payables, and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and the ability to work with various accounting software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Accounts Payable functions including receiving and verifying invoices & compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain vendor and accounting files.
• Credit card reconciliations.
• Input completed invoices into Deltek Accounting Software.
• Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management in multiple systems (Deltek Accounting Software, Engineering Construction Management System database (ECMS), Excel).
• Apply knowledge of debits and credits to accurately record financial transactions
• Maintain organized records of all financial documents for easy retrieval and review
• Assist with corporate accounting tasks, providing assistance and back-up to other members of the accounting department.

QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to work within a group environment to reach mutual goals. Self starter. Proficient in organizational skills, time management and personal motivation for quality work. Proven skills in oral and written communications. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Deltek Accounting Software and ECMS experience helpful. Solid understanding of financial concepts, including general ledger reconciliation, debits, credits, and journal entries. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
